Thank you for using Curio Words. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

Curio Words does not require you to create an account. We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Passwords or login credentials
• Payment information
• Location data

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to help us understand how the app is used. This runs anonymously and may include:

• App launch and session duration
• Which screens you visit
• Anonymous device identifiers (e.g. device model, OS version)

This data is aggregated and anonymous — we cannot identify you personally from it.

2.3 Content Delivery (Supabase)

The app downloads word content from our backend powered by Supabase. This process does not transmit or store any personal information — only the word content you see in the app.

3. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, we may send you daily word reminders via push notifications using Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).

• You can withdraw permission at any time in Settings → Notifications → Curio Words on your iPhone.
• We do not store your push notification token beyond what is required to deliver notifications on your device.

4. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal information, there is nothing personal to delete. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google Firebase for a maximum of 14 months per their standard policy.

5. Children's Privacy

Curio Words is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since we do not collect personal data from any users, there is no additional risk.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
